12/10: ARGS Writers Fest

Welcome to the 13th Annual ARGS Writers' Fest! The event is free and open to the public. Whether you're a reader, writer, editor, or pastry enthusiast, there's bound to be something for you here! We host a myriad of seminars and workshops, all of which are open to anyone interested in participating.

12:30-1:30 PM: Clay McLeod Chapman: Creating Something Out of Nothing: Short Story Workshop. Young writers need look no further than their own newspaper when searching for new stories to tell. By sifting through the local newspaper as a source of inspiration, we will bring our own voice to characters ripped straight from the headlines. Like the saying goes—“Truth is always stranger than fiction!”
