This collection of films includes many that play with form, showing radical new methods of storytelling. Others are astonishingly compact classic narratives. Fittingly for a group of emerging filmmakers, these films focus on coming-of-age, transitory times and places, and finding your place in a bustling world. And while this program offers a trip around the world (and under the sea), it all comes back to the creative vibrancy of New York."
