Another thrilling edition of Raconteurs & Roustabouts returns to New Jersey! A vaudevillean variety show that puts acclaimed writers together with celebrated musicians, award-winning film shorts, and astonishing side show acts.

Featuring international bestselling authors Arthur Phillips (The Tragedy of Arthur, The Egyptologist) and Lev Grossman (The Magicians, The Magician King); freakcentric fabulists Clay McLeod Chapman (The Pumpkin Pie Show; Hostage Song) and E.B. Hudspeth (The Resurrectionist); folk noir outlaws Arlan Feiles (Weeds Kill the Wild Flowers) and Wesley Stace (FKA John Wesley Harding; Wesley Stace); and confounding carnies The Amazing Traveling Circus Side Show with Daniel Danson Hanson (of Oddities fame) and his breathtaking Cabinet of Curiosity. Plus a surprise film short. Hosted by Alex Dawson, resident ringmaster for the late Raconteur (labeled “an avant garde, guerrilla street theater emporium” by The New York Times).
